Why us

Why Smartcleaners

We keep it calm and clear: keeping agreements, visible results and a team that knows your location.

A building that looks as if someone cares

In a clean workplace nobody has to argue about the toilets or the coffee corner. Visitors notice straight away. So do colleagues, even if they don’t say so. We keep on top of it with fixed agreements, so it doesn’t turn into an ad hoc job every week.

Safety is in how we work, not in a slogan

We are VCA-certified and work in line with the Dutch Working Conditions Act (Arbowet). That means products and methods that suit the space, and no silly risks for your people or ours. Nothing spectacular. Just how it should be done.

Cleaning when you’re not there

Many locations don’t want a vacuum cleaner running during meetings. We schedule before opening time, in the evening or at the weekend, whatever suits you. No “always available” talk. Simply: when does it disturb you least?

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you bring your own products?
Yes. Vacuum cleaner, cloths, products: we bring it all. We look at what’s there first: linoleum is different from carpet, a kitchen different from a stairwell. Prefer something without a strong smell, or something more eco-friendly? Just say so and we’ll sort it out.
Can you clean before or after office hours?
We often do. Early in the morning, or once everyone has gone. Weekends are possible too, if the schedule allows. With our quote we’ll tell you honestly which slots are open.
And at weekends?
Possible. Handy for shops, sports venues or offices that are full during the week. There’s no standard “always available” promise: we look at what still fits that week. Call 020 261 59 17 if you’d like a regular Saturday or Sunday.
Do you work for homeowners’ associations (VvEs)?
Yes. Entrances, stairwells, communal areas. We prefer one regular team to someone new every month. Agreements with the VvE or the property manager are set out clearly in writing.
Private homes too?
Yes, in Amsterdam. One-off or recurring. We agree what will be done, and what won’t, so there are no surprises.
How does a quote work?
Tell us briefly what you need: type of building, how often, what times. We’ll reply within one working day. No obligation. Prefer to call? 020 261 59 17.
