For gyms, sports halls and swimming pool venues. A gym with a group exercise studio needs something different from a sports hall with team changing rooms, or the wet areas around a pool. What they have in common: lots of visitors, damp spaces and floors that take a lot of punishment.

Wet areas first, then the floors

A round starts in the wet areas. Showers, changing rooms and toilet blocks take priority, because moisture and warmth put hygiene under the most pressure there. The team cleans walls, benches, taps and drains, removes soap residue and hair, and cleans the floors.

Next come the communal areas: entrance, reception, corridors and any canteen. Sports floors come last. We treat them with products that suit the surface, because a sports hall floor, rubber tiles and tiles around a pool each need a different approach. Products are chosen for intensive use. We are VCA-certified and work in line with Dutch health and safety guidelines.

Planning around opening hours

Sports venues are often open from early until late. That’s why we schedule the main round before opening or after closing. At busy locations an extra round in between can be useful, for example for the changing rooms after the evening rush. At many locations weekends are the busy time. Cleaning on a Saturday or Sunday is possible if the schedule allows. You get a regular team per location that knows where there’s extra work after a tournament or a busy week.
